On Thursday, December 12, we had the privilege of attending the VIP Entertainment Tourism Breakfast at Crowne Plaza Ravinia, Atlanta. The event featured an exciting program filled with insightful speakers and panelists, offering valuable information on Georgia’s rapidly growing entertainment industry.
Georgia: A Major Player in Film & Television
Georgia has firmly established itself as a global leader in film production. In August 2024, Business Facilities Magazine ranked Georgia as the No. 1 state for film production. According to the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD), film and television productions spent $2.6 billion in Georgia during the 2024 fiscal year, contributing to a total of $11 billion over the past three years.
Between July 1, 2023, and June 30, 2024, the state hosted 273 productions, including:

✅ 166 television & episodic productions
✅ 37 commercials
✅ 15 music videos
